Update: Phils release Castillo; but another ex-Met looms as a threat.

My fear that Luis Castillo, having been released by the Mets and picked up by division rivals the Phillies, would come back to haunt the Mets, has now been relieved, as the Phils have also let him go. The reason, however, doesn't bode well for the Mets (What does, these days?), as Philadelphia has a good short term replacement for ailing Chase Utley in another ex-Met, Wilson Valdez. So, the "curse" theory can still be tested.
