Opera on the street: Martha Cardona Theater
On my home street, Montague, in Brooklyn Heights, singers and instrumentalists from the Martha Cardona Theater performed this piece from Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore, along with many other opera vignettes, as part of the Montague Street Business Improvement District's "Summerspace" program.
Things like this are among what makes living in New York great.

Thank You, Mr. Scales. We all had a great time, and can't wait for our next performance, Saturday, October 10th. Featuring: Patty McAvoy, Lucretia Fleury, Jacqueline Goldgorin, Nathan Baer, Christina Hager, David Wahrmund, Vaughn Lindquist, George Kasarjian, and Linnea Leonard. We're also searching for a theatre/church in Brooklyn, to perform La Boheme in, this December.
ReplyDeletePlease come and say hello, if you make the trip on the 10th - it is right by the beach!
